I am a wife and mama to two little miracles from Morgantown, West Virginia. I've had a passion for photography my entire life, but when I had my daughter three years ago, I felt a deep urge to capture her every move. Her tiny baby feet and hands were changing every day, and I wanted a way that I could hold on to those memories forever. Photography is a gift that I provide my family with. I want my children to have authentic documentation of their childhood. I, wholeheartedly, believe that photography is an heirloom. I am living my dream by getting to know other families and telling their story through a series of photographs. I love to learn about, and document, what you love about your family. Babies change fast. The beautiful chaos of life is something you'll want to remember the rest of your life. Helping other families provide an heirloom for their children is my life's mission.

I am living my dream by getting to know other families and telling their story through a series of photographs. I love to learn about, and document, what you love about your family. Babies change fast. The beautiful chaos of life  is something you’ll want to remember the rest of your life. Helping other families provide an heirloom for their children is my life’s mission.

clean sheets, side by side rides, campfires at blue hour, uncrowded beaches, and long, quiet walks at this place are some of my favorite things. You know those things that just make you feel whole? I've decided to just start surrounding myself with them all the time. First on the list, early morning walks here, because this morning fed my soul.

Three years ago I photographed @carrieleighphotogr Three years ago I photographed @carrieleighphotography in this same place as she awaited the arrival of her first baby girl. So much has changed since then, but at the same time, so much has stayed the same. Things change so slowly we don't notice, but so quickly, three years have passed in the blink of an eye. Thank God for photos.

It's been a dream of mine for years to have documentary photos of families permanently displayed in our community, and the time has come!!! It's now time for me to choose my images.

I can display 18 dfp images. They are to be a mixture of labor and delivery images and family. If you feel strongly about an image of mine, I would love your help choosing! Take a screenshot from here or my website and tell me why it's worth being displayed.
