I am a wife and mama to two little miracles from Morgantown, West Virginia. I've had a passion for photography my entire life, but when I had my daughter three years ago, I felt a deep urge to capture her every move. Her tiny baby feet and hands were changing every day, and I wanted a way that I could hold on to those memories forever. Photography is a gift that I provide my family with. I want my children to have authentic documentation of their childhood. I, wholeheartedly, believe that photography is an heirloom. I am living my dream by getting to know other families and telling their story through a series of photographs. I love to learn about, and document, what you love about your family. Babies change fast. The beautiful chaos of life is something you'll want to remember the rest of your life. Helping other families provide an heirloom for their children is my life's mission.

About Me

I am a wife and mama to two little miracles from Morgantown, West Virginia. I’ve had a passion for photography my entire life, but when I had my daughter, I felt a deep urge to capture her every move.

The beautiful chaos of life  is something you’ll want to remember the rest of your life. Helping other families provide an heirloom for their children is my life’s mission.

A little bit of sweetness for your Thursday mornin A little bit of sweetness for your Thursday morning.
For the first time in Parkers whole life, both kid For the first time in Parkers whole life, both kids are in school all day.

School, karate twice a week, dance twice a week, and horse riding lessons are what our fall will be made up of. Our kids are tired, but happy. I miss them so very much, but I also feel a sense of self I haven't felt in 5 years. I'm a better, more patient mother so far without having to give myself 24/7. We'll just be living in the car for the time being.

I traveled over 1,000 miles for work in the past w I traveled over 1,000 miles for work in the past week. I know that may not seem like a lot, but I'm not someone who usually works out of town. On Thursday night, before a session in Tennessee, my husband and I were talking about how amazing it is that I got to say that I was working in Tennessee. Days before I was working in South Carolina. All of this to say, I'm so willing to travel for you. I loved the change of scenery.
The 3rd of the Heller 5 started kindergarten this The 3rd of the Heller 5 started kindergarten this morning, and I got to be there to witness it just like I did for his older siblings.
Leaving the beach is like saying farewell to a goo Leaving the beach is like saying farewell to a good friend- a long distance relationship. We're all a little heartbroken today, but excited to see her again next year.
For years I dedicated my life to the education of For years I dedicated my life to the education of children. Kindergarteners and first graders were my favorite people in the world. The way they question the world around them and seek answers so tenaciously is something I have always admired about childhood. When I left the classroom, my desire to educate children remained steadfast, only now I get to teach and learn with my own children and the kids in their lives- watching them learn and explore during real world experiences like this.
Just a little proof of my existence on vacation. Just a little proof of my existence on vacation.

I'm not usually included in our family photos this way, because I am my family's historian. I'm the one with the camera. This is one of the reasons I find what I do so important. I've been there- I am here- when you're in the midst of doing something with your family and there are thousands of photos of them together in your albums and none of you. Having a photographer besides yourself is important for this reason.
Piper's been asking me for a while to cut her hair Piper's been asking me for a while to cut her hair off. She's never really had it cut- just trimmed. She asked multiple times on the way to the beach, and I really want my kids to be able to make decisions about their bodies, so I was sure to get a few photos of her long hair before we cut it off. Her dad and I were very emotional, but she loves her short hair.
