Lions and Tigers and Bears…

and monkey, llamas, and giraffes too! Today’s storytelling session was all about the zoo; one of this family’s favorite pastimes.

I’m a wife and a mom to two, based in Morgantown, West Virginia.

Photography has always been part of my life, but it became something deeper when I had my daughter. I found myself wanting to hold onto everything-the way her tiny hands fit in mine, the quiet in-between moments, the feeling of those early days that pass before you even realize they’re gone.

That’s what I chase now.

Not perfection. Not just smiling at the camera.
The real, fleeting, ordinary magic of your life as it is.

I believe photography is more than something you hang on your walls. It’s something your children will come back to someday to remember how it felt to be loved here.

The chaos, the connection, and the way your family moves together matters. And it deserves to be remembered honestly.

Telling those stories for my family and for yours isn’t just what I do. It’s the work I feel called to.
