I was talking to a cousin of mine yesterday, who is due to bring her own sweet baby home soon, about how quickly life changes the minute your first baby is born. You go from living a life where you’re really only responsible for yourself to being responsible for keeping a tiny human alive in the matter of seconds. No amount of careful preparation or classes can get you ready for the sleepless nights and blowouts, but Caitlin and Andrew seemed like old pros from the minute I met them. Observing them with their sweet son was something special.
