I met Madison and her family when I showed up to their house hours after her birth last summer. I’ve been documenting her growth every few months since June. Growth sessions, just like Year In The Life sessions make what I do so much more meaningful. You see, the reason I do what I do is to provide families with documentation of a certain time in their lives. It gives each family a way to keep those memories alive and is one way they can contribute to their family history documents.
So much life happens outside of the few hours I am with a family, though. When I have the chance to document every month or every few months, I get to show growth and change and different kinds of connection. This family will have a record of Madison’s entire first year, and that is such a beautiful this for me.
